Studio E2F Collaboration for Cockpit Festival of Making

Studio E2F Collaboration Cockpit Festival of making

At this time of year I would normally be having my open studios at Cockpit Arts, but this summer it is taking a slightly different form. We are going online and celebrating Cockpit Festival of Making. Featuring 65 events with over 80 makers, Cockpit’s Festival takes place online, on Instagram, Facebook and Zoom, over this weekend, Friday 19th – Sunday 21st June. Check out the full program of events here

Cockpit Festival

I normally share a studio at Cockpit Arts with 5 other lovely jewellers, Anna WalesSara GunnLaura NgyouClara Breen and Frances Wadsworth Jones. We are a friendly studio and all miss working together, so we decided a way to connect with one another would be to make a collaborative piece of jewellery for the Cockpit Festival.

We each designed and made a charm influenced by our own styles and current circumstances. We then each documented our design and making process and made a film about it! You can watch the full film here…

DONATE TO WIN THE CHARM BRACELET

Enter our E2F Charity fundraiser to be in with a chance of winning the finished charm bracelet.
We have each been deeply affected by current events and inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement, and are hopeful that through supporting young people who are currently under represented, we may start to see some lasting change.
All proceeds will be donated to the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust, who is working to improve the lives of disadvantaged young people through career guidance, work experience and community support networks.

Each £5 donation buys you one “ticket” giving you one entry. The more you donate the more chance you have of winning!
